We are pleased to invite you to a specialized one-day Course in echocardiography, which will take place on October 24, 2026, and will be dedicated to modern protocols and imaging techniques in the interventional treatment of structural heart diseases.
The program will focus on the role and responsibilities of the echocardiographer during the planning and execution of structural heart interventions, as well as on the application of two-dimensional and three-dimensional transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
A major focus will be placed on transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) of the mitral and tricuspid valves, as well as on transesophageal echocardiographic guidance during the transcatheter closure of a patent foramen ovale (PFO).
A special guest lecturer and leading expert at the event will be Dr. Astrid Apor, MD, PhD, from the Városmajor Heart and Vascular Center at Semmelweis University in Budapest. Dr. Gergana Litsova and Dr. Vyara Konstantinova from Acibadem City Clinic Hospital “Tokuda” will also participate in the Course.
An important part of the program will be the interactive discussion and sharing of practical experience regarding patient selection, pre-procedural planning, and intra-procedural imaging guidance. The topics will be presented through real clinical cases, with an emphasis on practical solutions and the work of the multidisciplinary team.
Sincerely,
Cardiology Clinic, Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda Hospital
