The USERN Congress, themed “Bringing Science to Life,” aims to unite scientists across disciplines to promote global peace and eliminate boundaries in science. The event features both senior and junior scientists presenting their research, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
By gathering scientists from around the world, the congress emphasizes the power of interdisciplinary collaboration for the benefit of humanity.

Airport Transportation
Transfers for invited speakers, laureates and organizers are provided by the Medical University of Plovdiv. They must still book their transfers through the online system.
Arrival transfers from Sofia Airport to Plovdiv (official congress hotels) will be organized for all participants, who have booked them in advance with CME Ltd.
Shared transfer – 50 Euro per person in one direction
Individual transfer – 100 Euro per person in one direction
Shared transfers will be confirmed approximately two weeks prior to the event, once we receive the flight information for all participants.
On the spot bookings for departure transfers from Plovdiv (official congress hotels) to Sofia Airport will be accepted until 14:00h on 09 November 2024.
Passports & Visas
Bulgaria has the European Union’s Common Visa Policy as a member country accepting European citizens freely.
All non-EU citizens are required to have a passport to enter the EU with the appropriate visas. You can find out more about visas at https://www.mfa.bg/en/services-travel/consular-services/travel-bulgaria/visa-bulgaria.
Monetary System
The national currency is the Bulgarian Lev. Bank notes of the following denominations are in circulation: 5, 10, 20,
50, 100 Levs. 1 Euro = 1.95583 BGN.
There are foreign exchange offices and ATMs around the resort. It is always prudent to carry a little cash, however, in case you cannot find an ATM or bank office nearby. You can always change cash at the hotel, though the commission will be higher.
Make sure you have enough of the national currency when you plan to visit local markets and shops.
