This visit will introduce participants to the history, academic environment, and research activities of the University of Food Technologies – Plovdiv, the host institution of CEFood 2026.
Founded in 1953, the University of Food Technologies is Bulgaria’s leading higher education and research institution in the fields of food science, food technology, engineering, and biotechnology. Participants will have the opportunity to visit selected teaching and research facilities and explore part of the University’s modern laboratory infrastructure.
The visit will provide an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, establish new collaborations, and strengthen connections between visiting researchers and the academic community of the University of Food Technologies.
All social programme activities are included in the Congress registration fee. Advance registration through the online registration system is required. Places are limited.
