Plovdiv is one of Bulgaria’s major cities and is easily accessible from Sofia, located about 150 km away.

Travelers can reach the city by private transfer, train, bus, or car.

Private transfers and taxis offer the fastest and most comfortable option (around 1.5–2 hours). Regular buses and trains run frequently between Sofia and Plovdiv, providing reliable and budget-friendly alternatives.

Plovdiv is also served by Plovdiv Airport, though most international travelers arrive via Sofia Airport and continue onward.

Getting to the venue

Grand Hotel Plovdiv is centrally located, just across the Maritsa River from the historic Old Town and within walking distance of the city center.
