Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to invite you on behalf of the Organizing Committee and in my capacity of a President of the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology to the XI Congress of Interventional Cardiology, which will be held from 9 till 12 November 2023 in Grand Hotel Millennium, Sofia, Bulgaria.

All we know that interventional cardiology is one of the most dynamic fields in medicine and continues its development even now. The National Congress of Interventional Cardiology is an event that gives us the opportunity of keeping our clinical practice at the highest level. It brings us knowledge of the newest tendencies in the field and helps us develop as a community.

This year we have chosen the following topics as a focus in the program: Treatment of structural heart diseases – most up-to date development level, Complex coronary interventions – our options in 2023? and Imaging diagnostics for interventional cardiologists.

Traditionally, the National Congress of Interventional Cardiology includes a session that represents own experience, live cases, discussions, company symposia, etc.

The National Congress of Interventional Cardiology has always been accompanied by a rich medical exhibition that gives up-todate professional information on the newest treatment practices in interventional cardiology.

For the XI Congress we have chosen a hybrid form of organization with the opportunity of participating live and online, thus providing the opportunity for attendance of a greater number of colleagues.
